Dr. Graham Macdonald
Hi, I am Dr. Graham Macdonald, owner of Vernon Family Dental. I take great pride in my work and believe that every day being a dentist gives me the privilege of helping people and improving their lives.
I grew up in Kamloops and always knew that I would return to the interior. After many years of training, including completing my Dental Medical Doctor degree at UBC, I was given the opportunity to come to Vernon to work in our great community.
I strive to provide patient-centred care at the highest level, whether it be routine treatment or complex reconstruction. Throughout my career, I have maintained a continued passion for my profession, taking hundreds of hours of continuing education.

When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my growing family, out in Kal Park on my bike, and enjoying the wonderful things that the Okanagan has to offer.
Dr. Cynthia Dawson
Dr. Cynthia Dawson hails from the Lower Mainland, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UBC. She received numerous awards, including the Septodont of Canada award for local anesthetic techniques and the International College of Dentists award for academics and community service. Dr. Dawson made the move to sunny Vernon in 2021 and joined the team at Vernon Family Dental.
Dr. Dawson values providing care for the whole family and focuses on treating each patient individually to help with their oral health journey. She would love to meet you to discuss your dental needs and goals.
When she's not at work, Dr. Dawson enjoys hiking, biking, exploring, and spending time with friends and family.
